John Towner – EFC Past player and EFCPP&OA member- passed away 19 January 2023.
John played 87 games for Essendon between 1953-59 and played full-back for the Essendon 1959 Grand Final team.
After he left Essendon, John played with West Perth and then finished his playing career as captain-coach of Surfers Paradise.
