Membership

We have an array of options for people who would like to participate in membership with EFCPP&OA. Details of Full and Associate Membership, including DRC Membership. Membership Application Forms are available by contacting us.

EFCPP&OA Full Membership

EFCPP&OA Membership Criteria

 To be eligible to be a member of the EFCPP&OA the individual must have complied with the following criteria:

Full Membership Criteria

(i)   All past players who have played one or more senior games with EFC; or

(ii)  Players who have played a minimum of 20 games with the EFC’s Reserve Grade, or equivalent, in the VFL/AFL competitions.

(iii)  All former Senior Office Bearers of the EFC.

Definition of Senior Office Bearers:
(a)          Members of the Board of Management of the EFC who have served a minimum of 6 years (2 terms).

(b)       Secretaries/General Managers/Chief Executive Officers of the EFC.

(c)       Senior Coaches of the EFC.

(iv)  Trainers/Medical/Para-Medical and Football Support Staff of the EFC Senior Club with at least 10 years of appointed service.

(v)   EFC Life Member (including Reserve Grade Life Members) who do not qualify under any of the above positions.

(vi)   Members of the EFC Social Committee with at least 10 years’ service.

Benefits:

・ Entitlement to receive Newsletters three times per year (April, August & December).

・ Entitlement to be invited to Association and EFC function and events at little or no cost.

・ Support in any claims made to the AFLPA.

・ Opportunity to network with other past players.

・ Opportunity to participate in events and functions run by the Association, including golf days, bowls days and the Annual Dinner.

・ Potential access to funding from the EFC Past Players Foundation Trust in the event of financial hardship.

・  Opportunity to become part of a holistic networking past player assistance and welfare program available to all members, known as the Top Mark Network.

・ A Membership Card, which enables access to the Top Mark Network and access to EFC merchandise at a 30% discount.

・ Opportunity to nominate for positions on the Committee.

・ If resident interstate, opportunity to apply for ticketing for games and to attend supporter group functions prior to games in your state.

EFCPP&OA Associate Membership Associate Membership Criteria

Association membership criteria

(1) The following persons are eligible to become Associate members of the Association, subject to approval of the Committee:

                  (a) Any currently listed EFC player;

(b) Any player who has played less than 20 EFC Reserve games and any player who has played at least 1 game with the EFC in the VFL Under 19 Grade competition;

                  (c)   (i)   EFC Coterie Group members with 10 or more years’ membership;

(ii)  Supporters of the EFC who are not Coterie Group members but who have provided substantial financial support to the EFC or the Association; or

                         (iii) The wives, or partners of deceased members of the Association.

Benefits of Associate Membership:

• Receipt of three Newsletters per year (April, August and December).

• Access to the Top Mark Network, a wide range of suppliers who offer great services and supplies to members of our Association.

• An Associate membership Card, which enables access to the Top Mark Network and access to EFC merchandise at a 30% discount.

• Invitation to an end of year event with other Associate Members.

• Other benefits determined by the Committee from time to time.

Dick Reynolds Club (DRC)

Any individual is eligible to become a member of the DRC which also includes Associate Membership of the EFCPP&OA.

Would you like to become a DRC Member?

The Dick Reynolds Club (DRC) was originally set up by Ray Sneddon in the 1990’s as a fund raising arm for EFC Past Players, and Ray was the inaugural Chairperson of the DRC, but along the way the DRC became treated as a Coterie group of the EFC. The club has always recognised that any profits from DRC activities would be utilised for past players, including the topping up each year of the EFC Past Players Foundation Trust, however our Association has never received any direct funds from the club from DRC profits, but they have been used for other past player functions and events organised by the club. As the club has now discontinued the services of the DRC Committee, and passed any DRC activities over to our Association, we are now able to offer DRC Memberships to our supporter base, which includes Associate Membership of our Association.

The cost for this membership is currently $55 per year.
