Vale Ken Timms
Vale Ken Timms.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of 1962 Premiership player, Ken Timms. Ken played 134 games for Essendon between 1957- 1965 and also played for Victoria in 1962 and 1963. He was a versatile player who played as a ruck-rover before becoming full-back and then a ruckman and forward.
Post Essendon, Ken became captain-coach of Colac in 1966 and he then joined South Warrnambool from 1967 to 1972.
Our condolences to the Timms Family.
Rest in Peace Ken
