Player Profile

Chris Waterson was a lightly-built but determined utility player from Nullawil.

He struggled to get a regular senior game in the strong Essendon teams of the 1980s and was mainly used as a fill-in. He was a member of the Reserves premiership side in 1983 and won the Reserves Most Improved Player award.

Waterson was cleared to the Brisbane Bears in 1987 and played in their first game. He played 35 games before retiring at the end of the 1988 season.
