Player Profile

Trevor Spencer was a ruckman and forward from Jindalee in Queensland. A talented junior footballer, he won the Australian Schoolboys Carnival Best and Fairest award in 1981.

He only played three games in his first season and struggled to maintain a regular place in the team. He won the Reserves Most Improved Player award in 1985.

Spencer was a courageous player and the Club expected him to make his mark, but a serious hamstring injury caused him to miss the first half of the 1987 season and he was unable to win regular selection.

He acted as runner for the Reserves from 1996 to 1998.

He transferred to Melbourne in 1990 where he played three games in 1990 and 1991. He then moved to Geelong where he played a further 10 games in 1991.
