SHEARER, Bob

Bob Shearer came to Essendon from Yarraville Juniors. His only games for the Club were in Rounds 3, 4 and 5 in 1915. He kicked his only goal in his last game.

He enlisted on the 10th November, 1917, giving his occupation as leather dresser. He served with the 39th Battalion in France where he was gassed in August, 1918. He returned to Australia in January, 1919.

He died on 15th December, 1957.
