Alex Rosser was a wingman from Newtown. He played eight successive games in mid-1903 and was selected to represent Victoria against Ballarat that year.
His only goal for the Club was on debut against South Melbourne in a seven point loss.
A bricklayer, he enlisted in the 1st AIF on 11th December 1914 and was posted to the 7th and later the 8th Battalion. He served on Gallipoli in May 1915 but fell ill and was returned home in September and was discharged on medical grounds on 1st December 1915.
Alex Rosser died at the Heidelberg Repatriation General Hospital on 8th October, 1949.
