Player Profile

Kyle Reimers was pick 47 in the 2006 AFL National Draft. He was a strong forward player at the football and at times was a little feisty. He was a favourite with the crowd wearing his bright orange boots. He won the Club's Rising Star Award in 2008. Injuries caused him to miss games in the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

His comments that he felt the injections taken by players during the Supplements saga were “pushing the boundaries” probably influenced the AFL to investigate Essendon at that time.

Reimers turned down a chance to train with Carlton in 2013 and instead returned to WA to play with Perth Football Club. He returned to Victoria to play with Aberfeldie in the EDFL in 2014.
