Player Profile

Keith Parris was a courageous back pocket who went in hard for the ball. He came from Fitzroy Seconds where he played in early 1928 because he was residentially bound there and, before that, Camberwell in 1926 and 1927.

He played 16 games for Essendon in late 1928 and 1929 before joining Prahran in 1930.

Parris played with Sandringham in 1931, and then was captain-coach of Wangaratta in 1932 and of Narrandera in 1933 where the club had the premiership taken away for playing an ineligible player.

Keith retired in 1970 after forty years as an insurance representative.

He died on 20th August, 1991.
