MORRIS, Hugh

Hugh Morris came to Essendon from the Essendon All Blacks in the Essendon District League.

He was a half-forward flanker and played 21 games between 1952 and 1954 but had difficulty in holding a regular senior spot. He was a member of the Seconds premiership team in 1952.

Morris joined Warracknabeal in 1955 and then played four games with St Kilda in 1956. He later went to Port Melbourne and played nine games in 1957 and 1958.

He was a member of the Police Force but left to start his own security consultancy.
