George McGorlick was a rover who came from Essendon CYMS.

He played one game in each of three seasons - Round 18 in 1935, Round 17 in 1936, and Round 2 in 1937. He won the Essendon Seconds Best and Fairest award in 1936.

McGorlick then played with Brunswick in 1938 and 1939.

He was a taxi owner-driver until 1984.

He died on 17th August, 2007.
