Player Profile
Ken Mansfield was an aggressive little rover who came from Avondale Heights to Essendon's Under 19s in 1974. He won the Most Improved Player award there in 1975.
He was strongly built with an overwhelming desire to win the ball and his strong tactics often upset opponents.
Mansfield won Essendon's Most Improved Player award in 1979.
He transferred to Woodville in South Australia in 1981, then returned to Melbourne in 1983 to play with Sandringham. He played with Coburg from 1985 to 1987.
