MAGIN, Rhys

Rhys Magin represented Queensland at the 2007 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships and was recruited to Essendon in the 2008 Rookie Draft. He was a hard, in-and-under midfielder who won plenty of the ball and showed good skills.

In 2008, he was elevated to the senior list as replacement for the injured Jason Winderlich and played in the last four round that year against West Coast, Adelaide, Bulldogs and St Kilda. Unfortunately he didn’t play in a winning team.

Magin couldn’t add to his four games in season 2009 and was delisted in October that year.
