Ron Lunn was a wingman who came from Geelong where he played 35 games between 1948 and 1950. Prior to that he played with Drysdale.
He was tall for a wingman but also had pace, and relished the open space.
Lunn was unfortunate to miss the 1951 Grand Final through injury.
He was cleared to Birchip in 1953 to become coach there.
His son, Stephen, played 79 games with Geelong and Footscray (1980-1984).
Ron Lunn died on 20th August, 1987.
