Alby Law was a wingman from Moe. He had represented the Latrobe Valley League in 1948.

He played seven games between 1951 and 1953 and was a member of the Seconds premiership team in 1952.

Law then returned to Moe from 1954 to 1956 and later played with their Reserves in 1959 and 1960 before becoming coach in 1961 and 1962.

He graduated to coach Moe Seniors from 1965 to 1967 winning the premiership in his last season. He was assistant coach of that club in 1970.

Law had worked as an instrument foreman with the SEC.

He died on 17th May, 1970, aged only 40.
