KEARNEY, Gordon

Gordon Kearney was a defender who came from Geelong where he played six games in 1903.

He later played five games for Essendon in mid-1907, but only once in a winning team.

He had 16 siblings, including his half-brothers, Michael (who played 15 games for Essendon's VFA team in 1893 and 24 for Geelong's VFA team in 1889-1890, 1892) and champion sportsman, Gus.

Gordon Kearney died on 2nd May, 1957.
