Nick Hind made his senior debut against Gold Coast in round 13 of the 2019 AFL season for the St Kilda Football Club. He played 21 games and kicked 17 goals for the Saints before being traded to Essendon at the conclusion of the 2020 AFL season.
He had previously played three seasons with Essendon's VFL team, coming second in their Best and Fairest award in 2018, before being drafted by St Kilda with pick No. 54 in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft.
He was traded back to Essendon and impressed supporters with his dash and aggression at the ball. Many were surprised when, after 74 games for Essendon between 2021 and 2024, he was delisted by the Club.
Hind announced in November 2024 that he was joining Darley in the Ballarat League for the 2025 season.
Draft history: # 54 (2018 National Draft to St Kilda), (2021 Traded from St Kilda for #67 and #74, with #77).
Career Brownlow Medal votes: 1 (with Essendon), 2 (with St Kilda).
