Player Profile

Trevor Heath was a half-forward who came from local team, Essendon Baptists-St John's, to the Under 19s in 1969 and played in the losing Qualifying Final that year.

He was runner-up in the Morrish Medal for Best and Fairest in the League Under 19s in 1970 and played in the centre in the Under 19s First Semi-final. He headed the League Under 19s goalkicking with 64 goals in 1971 and ran second in the Club's Under 19s Best and Fairest. He played on the half forward flank in the 1971 Under 19s Grand Final loss to Melbourne.

He was unable to carry this strong Under 19s form into the Seniors and his only game for Essendon was as a reserve in Round 14, 1971, in a 147 point loss to Collingwood.

He then played with Eastlake in 1972 and 1973 and represented the ACT in 1973, before moving to West Perth where he played in 1974 and 1975. He transferred to Subiaco from 1976 to mid-1978 and then played with Wanneroo in the Western Australian Amateur Football League from mid-1978 to 1982.

Heath died on 25th October, 2021.
