Player Profile
Dave Ferguson made his debut in the second game of the round robin final series which won Essendon the 1897 premiership. He played strongly at half-back in the win over Collingwood but he wasn't selected for the third game. However, he is acknowledged as one of Essendon's first premiership players.
His only other game was the Round 3 win over Carlton in 1898.
