Player Profile

Ted Fay was a big strong full-back and centre half-back from West Coburg whose career was disrupted by a foot injury in 1933. He was a fine kick and good mark and had good anticipation.

He made his debut in a three point loss to Melbourne in Round 11, in which he kicked the only goal of his career. He played in the last two games of that season as well. Fay played another 10 games in 1933 and 15 games in 1934.

Fay then went to Brunswick where he won the Recorder Cup (precursor to the J. J. Liston Trophy) in 1941.
