Lauchlan Dalgleish was recruited from the North Ballarat Rebels (an Under 18 team) at pick 11 in the 2012 Rookie Draft and debuted in Round 21, 2013, against North Melbourne.
He was a left-footed half-back or midfielder who had a damaging kick, agility and a strong work ethic. He had speed to burn and won the 120 metre Terang Gift in 12.25 seconds, three days after being overlooked in the 2012 National Draft.
He was promoted to the Senior List in 2014 but was unable to gain a position in the team and was delisted in 2015.
He joined Footscray in 2016 and played 47 games in the VFL team, but no senior games.
Dalgleish later played with the Drysdale Hawks in the Bellarine Football League.
