Player Profile

Ed Considine debuted for Essendon in 1986 as a 17-year-old after playing in the Under 19 competition the previous year. He had also played in the Teal Cup and gained All-Australian selection in 1985.

He was a promising half-back flanker and utility player. He had pace and was a good mark but struggled to maintain a regular place in the strong teams of the time. He also played six night games.

Considine was traded to the Sydney Swans in 1993 and played 28 games until he retired in 1995.
