Jim Condon was a competent forward, centreman and rover who was dangerous around the goals. Like many others, his career was interrupted when Essendon stood out of the League in 1916 and 1917.

He was the second top Essendon goalkicker in 1918.

Condon went on to play with Port Melbourne in 1919 and then with Brisbane Valley in Queensland.

He died on 19th December, 1955.
