Jack Clarkson was a stand-in rover and back pocket player who came from North Essendon Methodists to the Thirds in 1953.
He played five games in 1956 and 1958.
Clarkson was a member of the League Seconds State side in 1956 and also played five senior games between 1956 and 1958. He didn't play senior football in 1957.
After leaving Essendon he played with Coburg from 1960 to 1962.
