Player Profile

Ivan Goodingham was a tall follower who came from Mordialloc Juniors.

He was an accurate left-foot kick but he was troubled by a lack of pace.

Goodingham was in the forward pocket and ruck in the losing 1947 Grand Final team after having his application for a clearance to Oakleigh refused three times. He also won Essendon Most Unselfish Player award in that year.

He was cleared to Mordialloc in 1950 and played there until 1954 before retiring.

Goodingham died on the 24th April, 2016.
