Charlie Fehring was a half-forward and full-forward who came from Hawthorn (VFA), where he played in 1920. He had also lined up with Colbinabbin in the 1920 Grand Final. Prior to that, he played 21 games with Richmond between 1917 and 1919. He was their leading goalkicker in 1917 with only 14 goals. He played one game with his brother at Richmond, in round 4 loss against Collingwood.
He started conspicuously with Essendon kicking four goals in his first two games but then only played three more games.
His brother, Arthur, played two games for Richmond in 1919.
Charlie Fehring died in 1981.
