DAVIES, James

James Davies was Essendon's No. 1 draft pick in 2000. He only managed one game in 2002, making his debut in Round 11 against Port Adelaide. He struggled to find consistency in the VFL during the 2002 season.

He failed to live up to expectations playing only two senior games in 2003, and he was delisted.

Davies was re-drafted onto the rookie list by Essendon in 2004, though due to poor form and a lack of senior football he was again delisted the following season.
