ARMSTRONG, Bruce

Bruce Armstrong was a follower and defender who came to Essendon from Scottsdale in Tasmania to play with the Seconds in 1963.

He couldn't break into the strong senior team of the time and all but one of his seven games were as a reserve.

In 1967 he became captain-coach of Warrnambool and he then went to Launceston in Tasmania from 1970 to 1972 and then Longford in 1973. He represented Tasmania in 1973.

Bruce Armstrong died on 5th September, 2004.
