Johnny Allan was a half-forward who made his debut in a Round 4 home loss to South Melbourne and strung together six games in a row, kicking two goals against Melbourne in Round 9. He played another three games for the year. His last game was in the final round.
A bank clerk, he enlisted in the 1st AIF on 16th July 1915 and served in France, finally returning to Australia in May 1919.
Allan died on 4th September, 1937.
