RUSSELL, Stuart

Stuart Russell was a half-back flanker recruited from Cobram in the Goulburn Valley Football League in 1925.

He played three games in 1926 and was in the team that played several games in Tasmania that year.

He then returned home to New South Wales to play for Barooga in the Murray Football League but returned to Essendon in 1931 to play three more games.

He later joined Hawthorn where he played seven games in 1932.

Russell died on 16th July, 1978.
