Harry Ralph was a half-back flanker from Norwood in South Australia where he played from 1939 to 1941. Prior to that, he played with North Adelaide Colts.
During the war, he played football in the Northern Territory with the Army, returning to Norwood in early 1945. He also represented South Australia.
After joining the RAAF, he was transferred to Victoria and played four games with Essendon on a war time service permit in late 1945. He then returned to Norwood in 1946 and later played with their Seconds in 1948.
Ralph then played Sunday social football and assisted with the coaching of South Australian country clubs including Kingscote on Kangaroo Island, Burra, Quorn, Orroroo and Bute. He also played with Cleve.
He retired in 1980 as a Manager with the State Bank of South Australia.
Ralph died on 17th July, 2004.
