Player Profile

Noel Raitt was a strong and vigorous half-forward from Stawell.

He showed early promise and won Essendon's Best First Year Player award in 1963. However, he did not hold his form and played only five more games in early 1964.

Raitt became captain-coach of East Devonport in Tasmania from 1965 to 1967 and was then captain-coach of Koroit from 1968 to 1970. In 1971 and 1972, he played with Port Moresby in New Guinea before returning to play with Stawell in 1973. He later coached Stawell Reserves in 1978 and 1983.
