Andrew Radchenko was a half-back flanker who came from Essendon High School to the Under 19s in 1971. He was a successful junior footballer, winning the Under 19 Most Promising First Year Player award in 1972 and was runner-up in the Under 19 Best and Fairest award in 1974. He was the Reserves Most Improved in 1975 but was unable to take that form into the senior team.
His only game for Essendon was in Round 19, 1975, in a loss to Collingwood.
He played with Avondale Heights in 1976 and 1977 and then with Ascot Vale from 1978 to 1980. He then joined Brunswick in 1981 and 1982.
