Player Profile

Brent Prismall played 25 games with Geelong between 2006 and 2008 but was unable to consolidate a permanent position due to the number of injuries he suffered, including a broken arm, broken wrist and an ACL.

He was offered a two-year contract by Geelong, but asked for a trade with the hope of playing more regularly and was picked up by Essendon with pick 39.

He was a very good kick and was a versatile player in his time at Essendon but could be inconsistent. He injured his "good" knee in the Round 19 game against Collingwood and missed the rest of the season. He didn't play any senior games in 2012 and was delisted at the end of the season.

He became the Western Bulldogs' player welfare manager in 2013 and also played 18 games with the Western Bulldogs' affiliate team, Williamstown Seagulls. He joined the Bulldogs' inaugural VFL team in 2014 and played 37 games in 2014 and 2015.

Brent Prismall was one of the 34 players and officials suspended for being part of the Supplements saga which meant that he had to stand down from his role as player welfare manager in 2016, but reurned to that position in 2017.
