Percy "Jim" Park had great pace and played six games in Essendon's inaugural League season in 1897.
He later played 11 games with St Kilda in 1899 before moving to Mildura where he worked as a solicitor.
Park died from pneumonia on 14th June, 1919. His extensive obituary in The Mildura Cultivator listed his extensive involvement in the district. He was so well-respected in the district that flags were flown at half-mast when he died and hundreds of people attended his funeral.
