MINTO, Les

Les Minto was an experienced player who came to Essendon from West Melbourne where he played from 1905 to 1907. He was a member of their 1906 premiership team. Prior to that he had played one game with Melbourne in 1905 after coming from Collingwood Juniors.

He was a clever wingman who settled straight into the side. He only missed one game in 1908 and was on the wing in the losing Grand Final side in 1908.

Minto played with Northcote from 1910 to 1912.

He died on 30th March, 1955.
