Player Profile

Jim McDonald was a promising half-back from Warrnambool and made an auspicious debut in 1903, playing in the last three games. In 1905, he only missed one game and played in the League side against Ballarat.

His career was cut short when he missed most of 1906 through injury and only managed one game in Round 10.

Although he played at the same time as the brothers, Arch and Edwin McDonald, they do not appear to be related.

Jim McDonald died on his 91st birthday on 7th March 1968.
