Henry "Harry" Mallett was a wingman who came to Essendon after playing 25 games with Sandringham. He played one game for Sandringham in 1936 before transferring to Essendon and debuting in late 1936.
His only games for Essendon were in Rounds 15 and 16, 1936, in losses to Collingwood and South Melbourne.
Mallett was transferred in his employment to Sydney and played no further games.
He served in 2/7 Australian Infantry Battalion during World War II.
Mallett died on 12th June, 1992.
