Harry Lippiatt was a centreman from Alphington in the Sub District League.

He played 22 games in 1938 and 1939, but his promising career was cut short by a serious knee injury.

Lippiatt then went to Queensland and coached Coorparoo from 1940 to 1943. He returned to Melbourne in 1944 to coach the Kilsyth Juniors.

His brother, Ken, played 30 games for Hawthorn (1944-1946).

Harry Lippiatt died on 13th December, 1997.
