Bill Lieschke was a back pocket player from Albury.

His only game for Essendon was as a reserve in Round 17 for a loss to Footscray.

Lieschke rejoined Albury in 1963 and played there until 1970, representing the Ovens and Murray League on a number of occasions. He then played with Acton in the ACT in 1971 before returning to Albury for a season in 1972.

He played with Natimuk in 1976 before becoming an umpire in the Wimmera League from 1977 to 1980.

Lieschke died on 16th January 2015.
