A half-back, Ken Collicoat came from Carlton Seconds and played in two games in 1944, one was as a reserve.
In 1945 and 1946 he played with Brunswick and he then became the first captain-coach of East Launceston in Tasmania in 1948. He later became captain-coach of Bushfield (near Warrnambool) between 1950 and 1954.
He went on to become a leading cricket umpire, officiating in 21 first-class matches.
Collicoat retired from full time work in 1960.
He died on 19th April, 2007.
