Jim Beasley came from Lang Lang and North Adelaide. He played in two games in 1901 but they were early in the season so he missed out on playing in the premiership that year..
In 1902 he went to Geelong where he played seven games.
A blacksmith by trade, he enlisted in the 1st AIF and was Mentioned in Despatches.
He died on 10th March, 1964.
