HISLOP, Tom

Tom Hislop was drafted to Essendon as a robust and powerful player, who was strong overhead and a prolific ball winner. He was tough and aggressive with excellent speed and endurance. He managed 33 possessions from his three games in 2007 playing across half-back and displayed enormous courage and willingness to provide run out of defence.

Hislop was delisted by Essendon at the end of 2008 for disciplinary reasons and was picked up by Richmond in the pre-season draft. He played 20 games for the Tigers from 2009 to 2011 before being put on the Rookie list in 2012, but played no more senior games.
