Player Profile

Tom Headley was a ruckman who started conspicuously after coming from Williamstown where he had been a star player from 1899 to 1902.

In his first season in 1903, he was selected in the League side that played Ballarat.

Hedley then played in the first 10 games in 1904 before seeking a transfer to North Melbourne. That was refused but he eventually won a transfer to Footscray (VFA), where he played from 1905 to 1907, returning again in 1909 and 1913.

Hedley died on 11th June, 1960.
